sotong and polar bear are good friends. and one day, sotong found polar bear too common and mundane and unattractive and decided to be a really good friend.

so... the sotong sprayed ink on the polar bear in a few spots.

Sotong's Ink + Polar Bear = PANDA.

so all thanks to sotong, there's a new species, the PANDA. and its a rare species and endangered coz there's a limitation to sotong's ink.

in short, "a panda lacks the essence and intelligence and the natural-gift of a sotong."
SOTONG > PANDA.

and sotong is proud that its sidekick, the panda, makes it to the olympics as a mascot.
