people! put a rainbow infront of you nick on MSN so that MSN can contribute $1 per rainbow to the china earthquake victims.
on a lighter note, i suddenly felt how fortunate i am. as im busying grumbling and whining abt the pressures i'm facing, i just dun realise how fortunate i am actually to not be twined into natural disasters. I'm born in a land, where peace existed and i can live comfortably w/o the worries of natural disasters.
as i'm watching the news just now, i suddenly understood how fragile life can be. *enlightened* i mean... yea. the poor kids. the terrible earthquake occurred during lessons time and...!!!! THE SCHOOL TUMBLED! this will NEVER NEVER happen in Singapore, firstly, coz WE WUN HAVE EARTHQUAKE (too small to have plates movement, glad that we are just a small red dot) and secondly, engineers in singapore are well certified and have professional engineers ethnic and integrity to build hses properly.
you noe MANY kids lose their limbs nt!!! i watch the news i cry lar. okay. im emotionally weak in the first place. but... its so poor thing! they are like so young. one boy still beg the doctor not to amputate both his hands as he still want to learn, work and study. even if it meant that he can only have his right hand, he still hope that he can have at least one hand! but.. the doctor told him cruelly that he either keep his hands, or his life.
OMG?! and now, im grumbling about the stress i face. SLAP ME SOMEONE. i need a tight slap for not cherishing what i have. i need a tight slap for being such a giver. i need a slap to wake me up from my nonsense.
just in 10 minutes or so, 60% of the city is destroyed. a city full of a thousand million years of history, culture, custom and live, is GONE in just a few minutes.
many people caught underneath the tumbles are seizing the opportunity to live, but it seems that their chances to breathe ceases as 72 hours has passed. what's to gone, will be gone. who's to stay, will be saved. but still, a live is just so fragile. in a snap, everything can be gone.
let's do out part. we cant be there physically to help, but i shall be emotionally supportive (: that's the least i could do. [i have no financial abilities too :P]
